EDITORS CHOICE Poems

“Because getting bald doesn’t matter”, a poem by a young girl who believes that looks don’t matter what matters is WE!

bald girls-campusvibes

They said I looked ugly when I got bald,
They said why did I ruined myself when I got bald,
I did it because it’s my choice to got bald,
They said nobody shall like me when I got bald,

I am an Indian woman and I don’t have opinion of my own,
I am an Indian woman and that’s How I have been grown,
I am an Indian woman and I as my society likes,
I am an Indian woman and I need to look beautiful for others eyes,

I got bald to redefine that looks doesn’t matter,
I got bald to redefine that my hair doesn’t make me look better,
I got bald to reassert that everyone is beautiful by heart,
I got bald to reassert that anyone can make a revolution start….
