DU LLB Eligibility Criteria 2019: DU Faculty of Law announced that they will initiate with the Application process for the LLB entrance exam for the year 2019 in second week of May. After the application process, the DU LLB Entrance Examination will be held in June 2019. 2,310 seats are available in the course that was initiated three years back in University of Delhi. The last year DU LLB entrance exam was conducted on June 17, 2018, for the duration at 12 pm to 2pm. The official date for this year will be released soon. 

DU LLB Eligibility Baseline

There are a few Eligibility Base lines for the Entrance Examination, before filling the Application form, students should adhere to this DU LLB Eligibility Criteria: 

Course Requirements Marks Needed

A degree from Graduate/ Post-graduate from University of Delhi or any other University (Indian or Foreign ) that is equivalent to the University of Delhi . 

The Unreserved Category candidates should have at least 50% in the qualifying degree. 

Those who are eligible to appear the qualifying examination degree are also allowed to Appear for DU LLB . 

OBC/CW/PwD Category candidates should have atleast 45% in the qualifying degree

If any candidate has already passed this LLB test from any other University will not be allowed for this DU LLB . 

SC/ST Category candidates should have 40% marks in the qualifying degree . 

Any candidate of any University shall be allowed to take admission in LLB unless the admission is cancelled. 


The allocation of the centre will be done on the basis of Merit scored by the students in their qualifying degree after the completion of Admission process.

  • Total Marks: 100 
  • Each question carries: 4 MARKS 
  • Topics to be covered

-Legal awareness and aptitude

-Reasoning and analytical ability

-General Knowledge and Current affairs

-English Language and Comprehension

The Law Centre 1 will have classes from 2pm -7:30 pm in the Umang Bhawan, Chhatra Marg Delhi University. The law centre 2 will have classes from 8 am – 2 pm at the same venue and the Law Centre 3 will have classes from 8:30 am – 2 pm in the old premises of Umang Bhawan, Delhi University. 

The Timings and Venues of the centers can also be changed without claiming anteing to the students.
