Solo traveling is becoming a craze called as Peripatetic Travel or Plain Old’ Wanderlust Soul, where you get to explore the world “YOUR WAY”. Solo Travelling enables you to become self-reliant. It empowers you as you become the captain of your journey, boosts confidence, you meet other travelers thereby broadening your communication skills & growth as a person.

  • So, traveling not only helps to know about new places, but it helps to spend quality time with self, family, and friends.
  • Every person should plan a trip at least in a year so that he or she can boost themselves and take a break from their daily routine.
  • Travelling improves communication skills as we meet new people and try to know them and interact with them. Places like mountains and riverside give you peace of mind; as well as helps to get creative thoughts.

Women today are becoming fiercer and bolder and mold things easily than anyone can. Being a worker and housewife plays a tiring role, it needs refreshment and peace of mind. Hence females too are encouraged to travel on their own and enjoy their lives to the fullest. As you can spend some ‘‘ME TIME’’ with yourself and detox your body and brain.

Why India Isn’t Considered in Top 10 Female Friendly Destination?

It’s not that India is a risky place for female travelers because any bad incident can occur anywhere. In fact, when a bad incident will occur it can occur Nationally or Internationally, irrespective of the place you are in. But the real problem is people’s mindset that needs to change. People even today comment on seeing a female solo traveler-

“Bechari, Akeli Ghum Rahi Hai!!”

What does this mean? Why don’t people say

“Bechara, Ye Aadmi Akela Ghum Raha Hai?”

This shows that the mentality of a few people still remains that men can take care of themselves but women cannot!!

Being in the 21st century means that it doesn’t make one modern or hip only. Many cases of sexual assault in parts of our country are making women horrified of traveling alone.

Hence Let’s finally come to our chosen solo female destinations in India which are deemed as being female friendly.
