Placement Cell
College provides internships and many students got full time job from that internship only, though stipend amount vary from company to company. The cell is active enough and provide with an average salary package. Decent placements are being provided; the placement cell also keeps working to get internships for students. Approximately 60% of the students get jobs. The major company that visits to the campus are NDTV, Star Plus, Sadhna, Sony, ABP news DD national etc. with starting packages from 1.5 lakh to 3 lakh. It tries to bridge the gap between academics and industry.

1. Location
IHE is located in the heart of South Delhi. The college is nearest to Hauz Khaz metro station making it super convenient for the students. Also, the college is very near to the Hauz Khaz village providing the students with a super cool hangout place with an awesome backgrounds for their instagram feeds.
2. Facilities
The college provides hostel facilities and bus convenience for the students. Banking, canteen, parking, photocopier, computer Labs, libraries and web access center are some of the other facilities in the campus. It has fully computerized library with a rich collection of around 22,500 textbooks, reference books and thesis. It subscribes to 40 National and International Journals.
3. FERIA
It is the annual cultural fest of IHE. It is a two-day event which includes competitions like photography, rangoli making, face painting, poster making, calligraphy, dancing etc. The sponsors for the event are Coca Cola, India Bulls, Amira Foods, Pulse, Honda, State Bank Of Patiala etc.
4. Documents to carry while taking admission
Students are supposed to submit their ID cards, X and XII class mark sheets. Along with these, documents like Adhaar Card photocopy, Character Certificate, Transfer Certificate, passport size photographs, etc.

- You need to keep the original bundle as well as the photocopied bundle ready.
5. Quite a good number of Celebs Visit
Shazia Ilmi, a renowned name in the Indian political spectrum is a living inspiration. Shazia visited IHE and had an interactive talk with the students of communication and journalism; she narrated her life, her struggles and those lessons that she learnt during her journey. The college often conducts such sessions with different celebrities.

6. Alumni Meet
Various departments in the college organize alumni meets to maintain networks with alumnae and invite them to deliver talks to the students, prepare them for the world of work, facilitate internships of undergraduate and post graduate students and motivate them towards better career prospects.
7. Access to Events
Various events takes place in college like – Golden jubilee exhibition, Inter university debate, National conference, Publications, workshops, etc.to enhance student. Rain dance on fresher’s party is just another attraction to keep the balance between the educational and party life.
8. Hangout Places
Located in the heart of Delhi, Connaught Place and Janpath top the list when it comes to having fun on a shoestring budget. And it is not just the amazing food that attracts students here. These markets are lined with stalls selling junk jewellery and accessories (ethnic jholas and branded sunglasses). Just brush up your bargaining skills and buy yourself a brand new wardrobe, without burning a hole in your pocket.
