Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman: Impact Created
Wing commander Abhinandan Varthman has truly illustrated that Life in the Indian air force isn’t just about aiming high & conquering it but also about achieving that limitless sky & etching one’s name into it forever.
The Indian air force is a highly organized service & one of the three major branches in Indian defenses. It is the air arm of the Indian armed forces. As depicted by Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, life in the Indian air force involves highly organized skills right from day one as well as capabilities which are developed as the personnel advances. Peer always tend to help each other in the forces as their life & duty depend on it. An Indian airforce officer or airmen or women or any personnel is needed to be witty and strong-willed because of the lifestyle they follow which is intense, difficult, quite hard and disciplined without any small gap of committing a mistake.
Key things that army personnel carry and which we as individuals lack are:
- A sense of responsibility
- Organizing ability
- Zeal to live in the moment
- Power of expression
- Social adaptability
- Courage to face a difficult situation
- Fast decision-making capability
- Cooperation and adjustment
- Initiative driven approach
- Lead with example
- Strong will and determination
If one wants to make a career in the Indian Air Force, then he/she must be at all times ready to face the challenging, spontaneous & unfavorable circumstances.
- Must be willing to put his duties above all, even his family!
- Be ready to struggle with equipment training, learning how to be able to fix them and also how to handle them with utmost safety & precaution.
- Super prompt and prepared to handle the on-site circumstances, the enemy jets, the enemy anti-jet missiles, and even their own equipment failure.
- Be prepared to be at war with not only the outer enemy but also with inner demons like disappointments, fellow deaths, and inner struggle with self on being positive about staying alive & fighting.
Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. Is it easy?
It’s not easy being a personnel but its always worth serving our motherland & saving the lives of millions of thousands of people who live here. It’s the satisfaction of their safety, struggle & commitment that we, the people of India are at so much ease & happy with. We can even take inspiration from our heroes who fight in wars for our sake. The most recent one being Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman. So, do you love your country as much as wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman does?
We are living in a world where people write “Proud Indian” on their Instagram bios and doesn’t even know the name of our President. We are living in a country where people throw national flags on road the day after any national holiday.
In this era of downfall and selfishness where people only think about themselves, our wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman did the most tremendous things for the country in a short period of time. Here are some qualities of Abhinandan that we can adopt.
1. He is an Intelligent & Witted Officer
When Abhinandan was in hostage in Pakistan, he destroyed all the necessary documents of the Indian army that they could have used against us in the most effective way. This shows that despite being injured he knew what he has to do. He was concerned about his country even when he was in a life or death situation.
2. Passionate for his work & country
When he proudly came back to India, his seniors asked him to take leave for a few days but he decided to resume back to back to work. This showed his dedication to his work and how passionate he is to serve his country.
3. Composed & Thought-Out
Any normal person in his situation would have panicked and taken some wrong decisions but he handled the whole situation wisely. Because of which his actions turned out to be an advantage for the country.
4. Aggressive for his Country
Any person who has patriotism within them easily gets aggressive when he/she sees their country in danger. This is exactly what happened with Abhinandan when we were chasing F16 and asked his colleagues to go back as he was confident that he could chase the aircraft.
5. Loyal towards his service for the country
Even though his life was in danger when he was in hostage but he still decided not to disclose any information about the Indian army to them. This shows that he was trying his best to protect his country even when he was in the death crisis.
6. Disciplined serviceman
All his good deeds were paid back when he came back to India and got an appraisal. He took his appreciation with lots of grace. His discipline and training could be seen in his posture and his communication even when he was interacting with the enemies. This is what is needed in a person when he is at work.
7. Being Patriotic
When Wing commander Abhinandan Varthaman was caught, he bravely defended against the people living there, who were beating him badly. Never even once the thought for bailing out on his country & cooperating with the Pakistani Army crossed his mind. He truly is an excellent example of how Well-trained, Strong, Courageous & Patriotic Our soldiers are.
8. An Excellent Example of Trained Indian Soldiers
The way Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman tactfully handled Pakistan’s Offensive Fighter Planes & saved his fellow fighter pilots is again Valore of Indian Armed Forces at one of its finest. Indian Armed Forces are not just subjected to crucial and extensive rigorous training but are also trained to firstly save your Fellow Fighters in battle & then fight further.
Although our soldier cum War Hero Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman has returned back safe to India. It was all the effort laid by our government but we can always learn from them. In our very own Motherland, There are several other brave warriors as well who have made us proud and through their sacrifices, we are able to live our life happily & satisfied. We should owe our happiness and freedom to them.
